Lone Lake is surrounded by asphalt trails, this is a trail system with a lot of climbs, and can be a leg burner. Managing organization: City of Minnetonka. Five-mile multi-use mountain bike trail through a Big Woods remnant forest. The trail pages are hosted/maintained by MORC, not the City of Minnetonka directly, per the city's own site.

City of Minnetonka (official land manager) publishes 5 official miles, confirming the figure already used in the base seed file -- no discrepancy on the headline number. Minor note: a local news report describing the trail's construction by Pathfinder Trail Building calls it "the four miler," which doesn't match the city's 5-mile figure; this is flagged rather than silently resolved, but the city's own page is treated as authoritative for the published total.

Getting there
There are two parking lots, trailhead begins at the upper parking lot, however lower parking lot has nice bathrooms and trail access.

Good at climbs, roots, and tight berms
Local tips
The trail can be loose and sandy. If you enjoy climbs with quick short descents this trail is perfect. The 5 miles will definitely be a lung burner.
